Clinical Psychology Internship Training Program

Bradley and Hasbro Children's hospitals serve as primary training sites for clinical psychology residents who are completing internship training within child clinical and pediatric psychology. 

Clinical psychology residents receive clinical and research training in broad areas such as childhood psychopathology, adolescent psychopathology, developmental disabilities and pediatric psychology. They also have opportunities for specialized clinical and research training in the following:

• Adolescent mood and stress disorders
• Autism spectrum disorders assessment
• Child and adolescent forensics
• Asthma
• Early childhood mental health
• Feeding disorders
• Pain management
• Pediatric anxiety disorders
• Pediatric GI disorders
• Pediatric sleep disorders
• Public school-based interventions
• Sibling group interventions

The Clinical Psychology Training Program is a member of the Internship and Postdoctoral Programs in Professional Psychology (APPIC) and the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science (APCS).
