Wendy Hadley, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with an interest in pediatric psychology. She has particular interest in working with children and adolescents who are HIV-positive.
Hadley completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida and received her PhD from the University of Memphis. She completed both her internship and post-doctoral fellowship within the Brown University Clinical Consortium.
Hadley's current research interests focus on adolescent risk behaviors. In particular, she is interested in adolescent sexual risk-taking. She is involved in several major projects funded by the National Institute of Mental Health that focuses on adolescents with psychiatric disorders and HIV risk.
Hadley has a particular interest in family factors and the impact of those factors in either increasing or decreasing adolescent engagement in risk behaviors and the use of technological tools to enhance the impact of prevention interventions.
